A farmer who was searching for Gibeon (an iron meteorite) found a 22 kg
stone plus 11 smaller pieces totaling approximately 18 kilograms in
November, 1996 in a dry river bed. Subsequently, searchers using metal
detectors recovered hundreds of additional pieces bringing the total
mass to about 120-130 kg. The largest piece was used in a garden wall
until August, 2000. Kora Korabis is a brecciated stone with rather
large clasts up to 3 cm.
